Can I bring my dog or other pets?

Only pets on leashes and well behaved are permitted on the grounds of Ribfest. The owner is completely responsible for their pet and is required to ensure the public is kept safe and free of any incidents. Service animals are permitted. 

 

I'm driving. Where are you? 

Centrum Blvd (near the Shenkman and D'Arcy McGee's in Orléans). Better yet, open your window and just follow the delicious smell of BIG BBQ. 

 

Is parking available? 

Yes. Parking is FREE at Centrum Plaza in Orléans at St. Joseph Blvd. 

 

Do ribbers or vendors accept Visa/MasterCard or Debit?  

No. RIbfest is a "cash only" event. However, there are ATM's on-site for your convenience. 

 

What other kinds of foods are available? 

Some rib teams have beef ribs as well as pork ribs. Ribbers and other food vendors offer chicken, salads, coleslaw, baked beans, french fries, doughnuts, ice cream, roasted corn, sweets & treats and more. 

 

Are there vegetarian and gluten free foods available? 

Yes. Some vendors offer salads, vegetarian pizza, and corn-on-the-corn. Gluten free sauces available - ask the Ribber.

Are kids welcome? 

Yes. Orléans Ribfest is a Family Friendly event. We have entertainment for every age group. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. However, note that the music in the evening will targeted to adults. 

 

Are there volunteering opportunities? 

The success of the event is really dependent on the efforts of the volunteers. There are hundreds of positions to be filled. Community Service credit is available. Please visit the Volunteer section by clicking here.

 

Is there anything else to do while I'm at Ribfest? 

Yes! We have Best in Ribs Judging Contest, Pulled Pork Eating Contests, ribfest swag, pop-up retailers, live entertainment, and a Craft Beer Garden. 

 

I'm interested in having a booth to sell my own products or handicrafts. How can I become a vendor?
