Is there an Entry Fee?

Ribfest is FREE Entry. You only pay for what you eat.

Can I bring my dog or other pets?

Pets are permitted. They must be well-behaved and on a leash at all times. Owners are responsible for the safety of the public. 

 

I'm driving. Where are you? 

Galt Gardens - in the centre of downtown Lethbridge. Better yet, open your window and just follow the delicious smell of BIG BBQ.

Is parking available? 

Yes. Parking is available on the nearby streets, nearby shopping mall and public parking lots w/in one block. 

 

Do ribbers or vendors accept Visa/MasterCard or Debit?  

No. Lethbridge Ribfest is a "cash only" event. However, there are ATM's on-site for your convenience. 

 

What other kinds of foods are available? 

Some rib teams have beef ribs as well as pork ribs. Ribbers and other food vendors offer chicken, salads, coleslaw, baked beans, french fries, doughnuts, ice cream, roast corn, sweets & treats and more. 

 

Are there vegetarian and gluten-free foods available? 

Yes. Some vendors offer salads, corn-on-the-corn. Gluten-free sauces available - ask the Ribber. 

 

What is the price of Ribs?

Are kids welcome? 

Yes. Lethbridge Ribfest is a Family-Friendly event. We have entertainment for every age group. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. However, note that the music in the evening will be targeted to adults. 

 

Are there volunteering opportunities? 

The success of the event is really dependent on the efforts of the volunteers. There are many positions available. Community Service credit is available. Please visit the Volunteer section by clicking here.

 

Where does the money go? 

Lethbridge Ribfest has partnered with LOSA to support their cause and local program initiatives.
